In-Motion Carcass Weighing System

This program is designed to weigh carcass halves, using an in-motion Monorail scale and two "whisker switches".

Before beginning to weigh, a Lot Number must be entered into the system. Once this number is entered, carcasses may begin to pass over the Monorail scale.

When a carcass rolls onto the scale, the WI-130 receives input from the first "whisker switch". The system then begins calculating an average weight from the in-motion scale.

When the carcass rolls past the second "whisker switch", the system stops averaging the weight. The calculated average weight is then used as the carcass weight.

Each time a pair of carcasses is weighed, the weight is added to an accumulator associated with a particular Lot Number. Approximately 200 Lot Numbers can be stored in the system.

A Tag Number is automatically generated, and increases by one each time a pair of carcasses is weighed.

A ticket is then printed on a WP-232 printer, showing the Lot Number, Tag Number, and the weight of each carcass half. The same data is also transmitted to a PC in a comma-delimited ASCII format.

When the shift ends, a Summary Report is printed, showing each Lot Number, the accumulated weight, and total transactions. This same data is also transmitted to a PC in a comma-delimited ASCII format.
